Student Instructions and Expectations:
Ensure that you have reviewed the detailed instructions below and have gone over them with
the student(s) before the exam.
● This exam is comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Please note that the instructions for the Langauge and Composition Final Exam differ
and can be found in the Language and Composition - Final Exam lesson.
● You may use one 3x5 index card front and back with handwritten notes. Other than this,
any notes or additional resources are NOT ALLOWED.
● You may only attempt this exam one time and must complete it within one 2-hour
session.
● You must remain in front of your computer for the duration of the exam and will not be
allowed breaks.
● Cell phones, tablets, and any other electronic devices are NOT PERMITTED.
This section is for students taking the College Algebra, Quantitative Analysis, Physical
Science and Lab, and Chemistry and Lab exams.
● You may use a graphing calculator; however, due to academic integrity constraints, you
cannot use your phone as a graphic calculator. You must use a physical calculator.
● You will also be allowed one 8.5 x 11-inch blank sheet of paper and a pencil for working
through questions. (Upon completion of the exam, the scratch paper must be collected
and disposed of by the proctor.)
Beginning Exam:
Once the student is prepared to take the exam, click on the Start Quiz button and enter the
password for the student. Once the session has begun, the proctor must remain in the room for
the entirety of the exam.
