My name is Mr. Henry, and I am proud to be a Lighthouse Public Schools Seahawk. I am from San Antonio, Tx, received my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio. This will be my 7th year at Lighthouse Public Schools.
I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development, academically, socially, and artistically. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
I look forward to working together with you as parents in your child’s growth and development as an artist!!

Description: Find Your Wings is an art piece created by students at Lighthouse Public Schools (Pre-k-12th). The driving force behind Find Your Wings was to inspire Self-empowerment: You are in charge of your life; don’t let others’ expectations or obstacles limit you and to encourage listeners not to let “highs” (addictions or distractions) keep their minds “low” and to use their wings to soar.
This year, along with the passing of loved ones from our students, faculty and staff, LPS decided to honor English singer, songwriter, Ozzy Osbourne; who was best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbathborn. In honoring Ozzy, our student decided to recreate Ozzy’s throne-like chair, entirely made of recyclable materials and adorned with skulls and bats. To shine light on Parkinson’s disease, our students created red tulips to adorn the throne-like chair with. The flower was adopted by the global Parkinson’s community to symbolize the disease in 2005.

Artistic creation often involves solving complex problems and making critical decisions. Tenley R Harloff has homed in on her ability to analyze situations, think creatively, and find solutions. This skill will be useful in her artistic process in the future.

The art world is constantly evolving, and the ability to adapt is essential. Thomas De La Rosa has stayed open to new trends, technologies, and opportunities. Being flexible has allowed Thomas to navigate changes and seize unexpected opportunities that come his way.

At the heart of every artist’s journey is creativity. Matilda Olivares Schofield pushes the boundaries of her creativity, experimenting with new ideas, styles and mediums, developing a unique voice and perspective in her artwork.

The art world is full of rejections and setbacks, Abriale Rodriguez has developed resilience and perseverance, helping her stay motivated and focused, pushing her forward to create and learn even when faced with obstacles.

Mi nombre es Sr. Henry, y estoy orgulloso de ser un faro de Escuelas Públicas Seahawk. Soy de San Antonio, Tx, recibí el título de soltero en Artes Fines de la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio. Este será mi 7 año en las Escuelas Públicas de Lighthouse.
¡Tengo una verdadera pasión por trabajar con nuestros alumnos más jóvenes! Ayudar a cada niño a avanzar en todas las esferas de su desarrollo, académica, social y artísticamente. Me esfuerzo por crear una comunidad de alumnos que alimenta este crecimiento en un entorno positivo y divertido.
