Please join the Summer Splash program students, grades K-12, as they celebrate the history and culture of San Antonio. The students who have participated in this course have toured the city, worked closely with San Antonio muralist Colton Valentine, and created a collection of stories and artwork that capture its history.

The students will display their compositions and artwork throughout the main lobby and hallway for parents, families, and guests to view; guests will also be able to ask questions of the students. Colton Valentine, who our students have worked with on his latest mural, will also be in attendance!

The event will take place from 12:00-1:30 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023. All guests must enter and exit through the main gate by the front office. Upon your arrival, please check in with the main office so you can swipe your ID or Driver’s License to complete a quick background check. Please understand that we are doing this to ensure everyone’s safety on campus! Additionally, parking is limited and LPS asks that you do not block the driveline. Please plan to park either in the store parking lot across the road or on the main road, without blocking driveways. If surrounding residents complain that an individual is blocking their driveway, then they do have the right to have the car towed. LPS is not liable for such situations.

We hope to see you on Friday!
