Hello parents and guardians. My name is Ms. Mendez. I'm excited to be your childs teacher this upcoming 2026-27 school year. My goal is to create expression through language, build vocabulary, learn about numbers and its purpose, name identification, find our unique personalities by learning to work together, and build a positive classroom structure that allows your child to grow.
Through this platform I will communicate all upcoming events, and set up conferences. I will check it daily for messages. Just keep in mind that I'm in the classroom and will read your messages during their nap time.
If it is an emergency please call the office and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I will not respond to messages after 4:30pm. If I missed a message I will respond first thing in the morning.
I want to welcome my new aide Ms. Finley. She will be joining our wonderful Pre-K team. She brings a warm heart, experience working with 3 and 4 year olds and and eagerness to help me in the progress of your childs growth.
Students do have snack. Please send a snack and a water bottle with your child everyday. You can send enough snacks for the week. If you could please put it in a ziplock bag with your childs name. Children will also need a change of clothes. It will be kept in their cubby.
I will be giving each child a tote bag. This will be for their blankets. I will be sending blankets home weekly to be washed.
I will set-up conferences through this app, and you will be able to message me privately through here as well.
