Human Resources Specialist

Hello! I’m Ms. Marlena Aguilar, and I’m proud to serve as the Human Resources Specialist for our school community. With five years of experience in various business administrative roles, I’m passionate about supporting the dedicated staff who make our campus a great place for students to learn and grow.

I hold a Master of Professional Accountancy from Stephen F. Austin State University. My background in accounting and administrative operations has given me a strong foundation for managing HR processes with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

My approach to HR is rooted in service, transparency, and collaboration. I strive to create a welcoming and efficient environment where staff members feel supported, informed, and empowered to do their best work.

In my role, I support a range of responsibilities including employee onboarding, records management, and benefits coordination. I enjoy working alongside educators and administrators to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for everyone on campus.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling to new places, and spending time in my garden. These interests keep me grounded and refreshed throughout the year.
