Mrs. Christina Ruiz

Hi!  I will be teaching 2nd grade math, science and social studies this year.  I have been teaching for 24 years.  I graduated from Texas A & M - Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's Degree and from University of Texas in San Antonio with a Masters Degree.  I have a Texas Teacher Certification to teach elementary school.

In my classroom my teaching is centered around fostering curiosity, kindness, and resilience.  I hope to inspire students by creating a supportive environment where they feel safe to explore, make mistakes and grow both academically and emotionally.  My goal is to nurture confident, compassionate learners who love discovering the world around them.
