LPS will be observing a school holiday for faculty/staff and students on Friday, May 2, 2025. School will return to regular schedule on Monday, May 5, 2025. Happy Fiesta!

Tomorrow is the STAAR Math test for all students in grades 6th-8th grade and High School Algebra I. Be fully prepared to shine of the test by getting plenty of rest/sleep tonight and eating a healthy breakfast tomorrow morning. We all know you can do this.

Tuesday, April 29th, is the STAAR Mathematics test for all students in grades 3rd-5th. Get plenty of rest/sleep tonight and eat a good breakfast before your test. You can do this!

LPS is hosting the annual Spring Festival tonight from 5-7 pm at the LPS campus at 8138 Westshire Dr. Lot's of food, games, activities, and family fun. Prepurchase tickets at the link below. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Spring Festival.

Students in grade 6-8 will take the STAAR Reading test on Wednesday, April 9th. Help students get a good nights rest and eat a healthy breakfast in order to be fully prepared to do well on the STAAR Reading test. We are so excited to celebrate the success of students because we know that students will perform wonderful on the test.

The 3rd - 5th grade STAAR reading test is on Tuesday, April 8th. Ensure students get a good nights rest, a good breakfast, and ready to do their best on their STAAR reading test.

Congratulations to the 4-6 grade girls soccer team. The girls have made the playoffs. The game will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025 @ The Alamo Sportsplex at 6:00 PM.

LPS was notified that 4 teachers received designations as either Exemplary or Recognized from the State of Texas. Congratulations. Designations are only given to teachers who have high student academic performance and high teacher evaluation performance.

Amazing resources have been made available through TexQuest. You can get digital books, magazines, for all grades levels PK-12. This resources is paid by the district and is available to all LPS families 24/7. Looking for a family activity, this is a great resource to find one.
